I sent a mail to you for localization of Misago in 2013.
So then now how can I transfer the transifex project to you?

Yep, back in 2013 superoptimistic plan was that there will be brutal changes occuring much more frequently, right now there's gonna be only one gamebreaking release, Misago 0.6, but thats still pretty far away, which means 0.5 version will stay with us for a while.
Updated original post to mention django-admin.py
and link to our transifex. :)
It's wrong command, two weeks ago I make "po" file for Russian translate, and yesterday it was finished (1489 lines). But when I load russian po file at local forum I found that less than half of interface changed. And when I look inside polish translate I found many strings in py files and polish translate contain 2091 lines.
Now I think better idea to make copy your polish translate and change it to russian.
I think you've ran makemissages in wrong place, omitting part of codebase. You need to symlink/copy templates inside misago directory (where "locale") is, so strings get extracted from it as well.
To add to this, I admit that translation process is too tricky currently, and I've made it a point to make it easier to add new translations to Misago in 0.6, so there's no more hackery and tricks with moving templates dir around, etc ect.
There's also bash script that'll generate right translation files (both for py/html and js) for your language without requiring you to write all commands yourself. Doing ./makemessages ru
in directory cloned from github will create or update russian translation files in misago/locale/ru
for you.
No, translation not tricky. I just take your pl file, open it in text editor, with find-replace clear all polish sentenses. And in Poedit update my old translate with this new file.
Now I translate to russian already 95%, after additional check mistakes, will make pull request.
Just remember to update pluralization rule and msgstr counts for your language.
Yeap, pluralization rule automaticly updated in "Poedit" when I choose ru. I tranlate localization file first time, so in start make mistake, when translate "One smth" same way to russian. And only when I look inside in Polish file and in header see different pluralization form, I realize what in russian first form also means 21, 31 etc and not only "one" as in english language. But now I correct this mistake.
Working on the German version every now and then...
@rafalp please refersh link to:www.transifex.com/misago/misago-1/dashboard/
I've actually changed link at transifex with www.transifex.com/misago/misago/ showing translation project for current Misago, and Misago 0.5 translations living under www.transifex.com/misago/misago-05/ ;)
The original post will need some updating likely because translation workflow got steamlined. I'll do it in few days.
Can you approve russian translation at transifex? I can start translate at my free time. :)
Done, just don't translate that one po file with "deprecated", its not used in 0.6 and it will be deleted eventually.
Hi rafalp ! Could you accept my request on transifex? I do have some time to start working on misago french translation :)
Done, good luck!
Hello!
Please add me to the translators in Russian at www.transifex.com/misago/misago/
