How to render variables in Misago's templates?

Hi! I hope this isn't a dumb question, but I was looking to send some data to Misago's base.html. I am kind of new to Django, but my understanding is that in the views.py we can render variables to a template. I have been looking at Misago's source code, but due to the big amount of files, I am not sure where to find this file.
Twould appreciate some guidance. :)
