Now, from what I can see over here, you can only login with an email address.

Now, that's fine and dandy, and can be a great preventative method to prevent spambots from using fake email addresses, and then just dumping them (and forgetting the address, and as such making themselves unable to login).

However, I'm sure a good amount of users prefer to login with their username rather than their email address; or some people prefer the option to have both.

So, to the developers of Misango, would you consider adding in the option to use the username instead of the email address?

(Note: This message is based solely on the experience I have seen on this forum (which by the way, is awesome, and Misango as a forum software is excellent). I've not seen whether there is any sort of additional customization option which I haven't seen.)

    Thanks!

I'll look at it when I will be refractoring Misago's authentication component, chances are I will simply let users sing in by typing either email or username, as both are unique anyway. I've set an issue on github so I'll remember to revisit this when time comes.

    Thanks for feedback

For record, 0.6 moves login to modal, so you can login from any page. After you enter valid credentials, you are also redirected back to where you came from:

(note that recording compression messed up colors and dom animation FPS lowered due to me running ton of stuff)
