    Hi Rafalp,

How do I make sure that nobody is able to see which user voted for which option?
I understand that the poll starter can choose for the voting to be private, though I want that to be enforced. But even with private voting, the poll starter is still able to see who voted and for what, which is a huge breach of trust.

    So my question is:
    - Can I enforce non-public voting?
    - With the enforcement, can I also make sure that it's not viewable by the poll starter?
    - If not, how do I completely disable polls?

    Best regards
    Mike

    Hey!

You are giving too much thought to what's happening here ;)

What really happens is you are likely testing this out with your staff forum account which uses "Moderator" user role, that has those permissions by default:

You need to go to admin control panel, then "Permissions" and "User Roles". Now just edit moderators role and that should do it.

I see. You are right about that :-)

So with private votes, the votes can't be seen be the creator. Thats good. But then how do I enforce private votes, instead of giving the creator the option?

Currently vigilant moderation staff enforcing no public polls is your only bet.

In future I may introduce option to forbid public polls, but I would have to decide how such feature would best be implemented. Should it be permission? Or should it be forum-wide toggle in admin -> settings? Maybe both?

Thanks for the answer. A combination of both seems like the best-option in my mind :-)

I have a couple more questions, but I'll open another thread.
