When I was asked few weeks ago "how far is Misago 0.6?", I've answered "few weeks". That time has passed and here we are still with Misago 0.5.

    Why did this happen?

Simply put, 0.6 release which started "just" as codebase cleanup grew up with every feature being vastly improved from how it was in 0.5.

New reads tracking implementation tells you how many new replies are in unread threads. New notifications system is not only dynamic, it knows when you've seen things it tries to notify you about, and sets those as read. New activity tracker allows for presence features like displaying online/offline/banned icons by usernames in thread view. There are lists of threads you've never read and threads you've read that have new replies. There are redesigned user profiles, there's redesigned posting view, etc ect and updated threads lists and posts.

So, while we are still far from Misago 0.6, progress is being made steadily with small updates being posted on my twitter regularly.
