    Hello rafalp,

What would be the best way to achieve the following pattern for new sign-ups?

A newly registered user can post threads and replies that are only visible to themselves and moderators. When a moderator approves the user, the posts will appear publicly, and any next posts will no longer require approval.

Is there a such a thing as a role where only the user and moderators can see a user's posts?

The purpose of this pattern is to have a buffer between the moment an unknown person signs up and starts posting, and it appearing for everyone else on the forum.

    Thanks!

New members land in the "members" role. I would change this role to require moderation approval on new threads and posts.

I would also rename this role to "Validating" and create new "Validated" role I would give to validated members.
